Young's History

1970's- Business was sold to Paul Young, Hans Kuring, and James Fox .

1988- Fifty-four acres of land were purchased in Woodbury, Connecticut for the purpose of growing more of our own trees and shrubs because of the demand for larger and higher quality plant material. We also have a garden center and a landscape service operation at this location.

June 1, 1997 - Young's Nurseries, Inc. was sold to five long time employees: Tom Daily, Scott Deniston, Dave Gindek and Thomas Kuring. Paul Young, Jim Fox and Tad Sanford are now retired, while Hans Kuring continues to be employed as chief grower at the Woodbury nursery.
